TAILGATE RAMBLINGS
NEWSLETTER OF THE POTOMAC RIVER JAZZ CLUB
1971 - 1981

In response to a request from my old friends in the Potomac River Jazz Club--my alma mater--I have scanned and converted to PDF the first eleven years of the club's newsletter, Tailgate Ramblings. When the PRJC has finished doing the same with all the later years, these files will join theirs on the homepage of the PRJC; in the meantime I've put them here so the handful of folks who might take interest in such things can read them now.

In revisiting those early issues, I was reminded how many very gifted artists created cover art for Tailgate, so I created a separate section just for the covers. They are full-size (8 1/2" x 11") JPEGs at 300 dpi, suitable for framing or lining the bottom of your mynah bird's cage--providing that the critter can sing at least one verse and the chorus of "I'm a Little Blackbird Looking for a Bluebird."

Note too that for the first three years of its existence, Tailgate Ramblings was a (more or less) quarterly on no fixed schedule, so those three years' worth are identified in the academic journal style of Volume No./Issue No. When it became a monthly early in 1974, it still carried volume/issue numbers but was more logically identified by month/year of publication.
